Folks: Just got a call from John Anderson regarding his visit to BCMD. He visited the mines all day Thursday and today. In his own words: 1) The liners have not arrived yet, but are due any day now. 2) All the roads on the mining property are clear. 3) The highway slide area is cleared and open. 4) They are mining and milling four days a week, Monday through Thursday, ten hour shifts. The miners are off Friday through Sunday. The miners told John they are very happy with their working hours, conditions and management. 5) They've been surveying the Ruby mine and plan to go into production there next. While in the Ruby exploring with metal detectors they found some small nuggets. 6) John said Ron Spry, the new superintendent, showed him the milling process step by step. 7) This past week they did 5 rounds of blasting in the 2500 and it is grading very high, multiple ounces per ton. John saw the ore from the 2500 and was very impressed. Summary: John was very excited, and extremely impressed with both the management and the miners. He said they were very open with him and he was totally reassured that we have a producing gold mine with a great future. He definitely has "GOLD FEVER". He got to hold a 16 ounce ingot milled on Thursday, a 4.5 ounce ingot milled today and some quartz rock with gold from the 2500. He said he felt very comfortable with Ron Spry and Mike Pinkering. He got to visit the other properties and was impressed with the size of the operation. He did get to talk to Lionel and yes folks Lionel is alive and well. He did go to the mining equipment conference to check out the latest in mining technology. He apologizes for not getting back to everyone, but has hundreds of emails and telephone messages to answer. -KEN-
