Jaunty Jane:

Remarkable how easily you twist others words and then set them up as a straw man for you to knock down. I'm sure it would have impressed many of the Inquisitors of the Middle Ages. Why, they may even have appointed you to divine for them who were witches that needed to be tortured and burned.

That region in the Himalayas near Mongolia and China was not always called "Tibet". The monks that live in the region have a lineage that stretches back tens of centuries.

Jesus spoke many languages including Arabic and Latin and was highly educated as a rich man's son. During his travels in the orient he learned the local customs and the dialects as well.

The monks never perceived him as the son of any god, but an insightful mystic looking for further instruction, which they provided him with for a time until he left to make his arduous way back to the Middle East to spread his new religion.
