That's good, thanks. This thread needs more material.
Obviously the market focus isn't on new systems - witness the demise of Jabil Circuits and Rambus Tech - but it has evolved beyond the merely physical to the ephemeral with the likes of Yahoo, Lycos, and Lucent.
If earnings can't justify the new stock price then dreams can. Which reminds me about egghead software, they closed all stores and are basically another mail-order web site for parts (except without the discount). I suppose they'll announce an deal with AOL and go to $90.

iceberg, before you "average down" again, you should do more REAL due diligence as opposed to shooting from the hip. For example:

1. Do you know WHO the large block trade was today that sold 2.5% of the company stock?

2. Suggest you call/speak to Roy Sardina and/or Scott Ruppel ( sp? ) over at G-2 Networks. Scott used to run Marketing at EMLX and is now doing a similar job at G-2.

3. Ask WHY certain FC industry players feel that the EMLX FC adapter technology is getting long in the tooth..No question that in the past EMLX has had the lion share of FC adapter OEM business, BUT can EMLX hold off others in the FC adapter business from surpassing them from a price/performance basis? ( I have no answer to these questions)

PS- my understanding is that EMLX Lightpulse adapters still do not support Class 1.
