Stockman,,, RE:[Wonder how all those motherboard makers are going to recoup their investments in a dead-end socket 7 solution.] Suggest you read Brian's last post. They have already been recouping their investment in a market that Intel cannot compete in. The only investment these guys will have a hard time recouping is that investment in Intel's once a quarter FX, LX, BX, DX, XYZ, now you see it now you don't chipset game. I think the next 6 months will prove that the masses are not willing to pay the price required to fund this game. Regards Buckwheat
