Mark: As one who has been critical of management in general and Mr. Kemp in particular, I think we have to give him credit for the past couple of weeks which have been very positive (IMO) for the company. I do have some suggestions however. First, I think the company should clarify the testing protocols in the next release to reassure the market that they are in fact performing SFAs. Second, the company should specify (maybe have BD join) the reason why BD is no longer in the service of Naxos. It may be as simple as dollars and cents. For example, I believe the company paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $250,000.00 for the drilling of five holes by BD. My own due diligence tells me Naxos should be able to improve on those costs while still using a reputable firm (if such a thing exists in the mining industry). Third, the company should emphasize Mr. Norton's role in the ongoing process and his qualifications. For instance, is he participating in the selection of the new CEO? Some people have wondered on this thread and the marketplace why no mining people are on the advisory committee. If Norton is involved, it might assuage some of those concerns. Just my random thoughts while babysitting on Friday night. Another exciting Friday night!!! JLA

Mark you state the following "The interim team that we have going now is doing a great job IMO, and deserves credit for having the foresight to be searching for a permanent leader and not wanting to stay in power."

Help the thread out here! Please detail the basis for this opinion. This mat cause the lurkers to better understand how Naxos has changed.

Regarding Sid! Many have stated that he has done wonders for Naxos in the last two weeks! Yet when I ask these people to sell me on Sid! Meaning convince me to vote him back to the board, I get a big void. Or they say well he was the company Lawyer. How did he as the company lawyer handle the ASE fight? Why was Fred required to be brought in to solve the issue? What has his record been in the past? Why has he waited so long to act? What caused him to act now? What are his intentions for his role in Naxos short and long term? What are his qualifications to run Naxos right now? I really what to be sold on Sid! So sell me! If we can't we need to say good by Sid as well! Next questions! What about the rest of the board? Who are they?

These are Dick's questions but he used up his 3 posts. LOL

Mark, I have nothing against your posting your opinions. I defended the HungryLion's right to post his when almost everyone else wanted him booted out. I do take exception to your implication that Fred Arkoosh had some responsibility for Naxos' murky past. I too don't intend to get into a "pissing match" over this. Suffice it to say that Fred Arkoosh's resolution of the ASE issue (and, as I said before, it is my understanding he did whatever he can to convince management not to settle until the ASC charges are dropped as well) resulted in Naxos' ability to trade in the U.S. If you don't consider that beneficial, I don't know what to say.

If anyone should be left in the new Naxos management team, IMHO it should be Fred Arkoosh. However, I don't really care whether Fred remains or not. I believe Naxos would benefit enormously from this but if it does not happen so be it. However, I certainly don't want anyone that was involved in what you reference as Naxos' "murky past" left in the new management structure. At least we agree on that.

I too enjoy your posts, not just for their perspective but also for their substantive content (your DD has always impressed me). You did not owe me any apology. I was simply expressing my surprise that you would lump Fred Arkoosh in with Naxos' "murky past."
