I emailed the author a commendation and then was asked to give my permission that it be published as a letter to the editor (whcih I of course agreed to): <<Thank you so much for your wonderful article on SAN. I am a shareholder for the past several years of Ancor Communications stock, and I guess, that being said, I (and they) were ahead of the times. Your article was diverse yet specific and far-reaching, and I appreciate the extensive research that must have gone into it, unlike may other articles these days written just to fill up space but catch one's attention with a timely headline. Of course following the development of Fibre Channel has made me quite a fan of the technology way beyond the mundane 'joy' of actually making some money from it. Thanks again.>>
