No, don't believe there was any heavy specialist involvement in that afternoon action which drove LSI up..
Actually, LSI is running over 80% of capacity...whcih isn't as capacity strained as, for example, VTSS, but LSI had their Gresham Fab on delay before... and they decided to put it back on fast track for completion beginning the second half of the year, when their projections showed they would be constrained.. They have a nicer kind of problem than INTC..
No, I suspect LSI is coming with a better quarter (Mar) than expected, and some big fund sort of figured it out. And the chart action looks like a run to, perhaps, the 29 area. I expect (hope for) a later pull back, as I have only a minimal "tracking" position at the moment.. Happy investing! dlo
