Paul, Hi!!! I thank you for the kind words... Yes, I guess I don't listen enough to the analysts...Yes, I don't listen to the naysayers on the thread enough either...although, I do print copies of posts and articles that do have a negative flow...and some of these are soooo much fun a few months down the line...."experts" you know......my 'bibles" are not all positive articles.....As to you questioning why I chose to stay with optimism through that storm this past fall /early winter...... without thinking too hard it may have been a measure of sanity or for a better reason.....convictions......but, putting all my optimistic love for this stock aside..... I do keep a record of this thread and use it on a regular basis...and, I admit I did use that positive reinforcement quite a bit more often during those turbulent times.....truthfully, I don't do this alone.... I admire what so many on this thread have taught me..I respect their honesty and sincerity....lurking since the inception of this thread and then joining after my daughters wedding and our vacation I virtually have not missed many days checking on this thread.... because of that two year experience(s)....and, .without even thinking I can rattle off the number one reason why I have decided to call my portfolio "patience"........Michael Dell....... and the management under him....this thread is full of posts where individuals have continually been surprised by his understatements...those that had faith in him are "obnoxious" to say the least...you included....stubborn....yes, but not without reason...like so many others on this thread.....I have placed my money with my convictions.... Michael hasn't let anyone down yet...Venkie early on told me some things about the man that have stuck with me every day .....things that mean so much to me as a person...so, many others have given me a clear vision of this man and his company.....his values are very plain and simple..and his company is no different....IMO the public is learning more and more that these values are why Dell is gaining more and more market share....as recently as Friday I sit in a bar with a friend and have someone right off the top of his head tell me that he has gotten such incredible customer satisfaction out of Dell that he will never buy anything else as long as Dell keeps it's word....all this man saw was my shirt with Dell on it.... He offered this commentary....it was by no means initiated by me......these stories and values are what I treasure as much as the money I am making going long on Michael's word... Best, Kemble
