Re: QGLY

I find it amazing that all the key arguments you use against IOM are the same exact same problems that face QGLY, yet you still promote QGLY

1) QGLY is the definition of a "one trick pony".

2) QGLY's fast sales growth rate (due primarily to channel stuffing of a new well hyped product) is slowing (this according to the company itself).

3) WS hates QGLY.

Now you are highlighting another similarity between them. Namely, that some people consider QGLY a buyout target at these levels...just like what some people are saying about IOM.

All of the similarities are amazing yet you have completely opposite opinion of these stocks....hmmm??

Unlike IOM, however, all it would take is one study to contradict the one study that propelled QGLY to begin with to and the company would become worthless over night. Don't be surprised if such a study turns up down the road, especially in terms of Coldsleeze's effectiveness for repeat users.

Hi Rocky:

It is nice to know that you are long QGLY and short in IOM. I have seen your IOM demotion infomercials, which sound like ones coming from a very nervous short-seller. One of your points against IOM is its low book value, which is true, but it is one of the highest (as a percent of market price) for technological companies. IOM's price to book ratio is 4.40 and QGLY's 6.64. As a small cap with not much distinction, QGLY can sink fast. IOM is a large company with a solid brand name. In any case, your picks may assure investors with positions opposite yours. I wish you good luck, though; after all, we are in a game of money and that should not be not all in life.

>> Just one thing wrong--this was a VERY mild Winter up here in NYC. Sales were definitely off due to this fact. <<

Baloney. It has been well documented by extensive medical research that temperature has nothing to do with catching colds. Your favorite puppy is a sick dog, but mild weather didn't cause it. I spend all winter out in the cold and extreme weather conditions and seldom ever catch a cold. Never fall in love with a stock, Lumpy. It can lead you deny reality and make silly statements.

OT: QGLY

Rock,

Although I generally disagree with you. I have to admit that at its current price, QGLY is a steal!! I have followed this stock for over a year and have made some good trades with it (no position in it currently...but waiting!!). It will definitely shoot up sometime around July (just like it did last summer) as WS anticipates inventory buildup for the upcoming winter. The great thing about it is that the analysts have to assume, not being able to see into the future, that the next winter will be a good one for cold remidies. This will create a rash of buying for QGLY as Cold Eeze has dominated this market over the last winter. And this doesn't even take into consideration the possibility of a buyout which is not unimaginable with the consolidation that is taking place in the prarm. sector and Cold Eeze kicking butt all over. I'd wait though until QGLY reports 1st quarter. I think the price is going to get really cheap shortly after the earnings report. But shortly after that :)!!!

There's gold in them thar equities,

What is next IOM?

Reply # of 9951
next IOM, USRX is WSTL, start from now! TI is regard for did not flush
market with its X2 chip last time to allow K56 to come back. This time
they will try to work with WSTL to kick out any potential late comers
and make ASDL as cheap and affordable as k56 or their own X2.
Because the cost is same for them. Guess who will make most of money?
WSTL.
If anyone tells me there is a modem at 1M/sec rate cost only a few
hundred $, I want to buy it right now.
