Dazzle Them with Video Capture
By Owen Linderholm

Dazzle Multimedia's Dazzle would be a difficult piece of hardware to describe if it weren't so similar to Play's Snappy 3.0. Like the Snappy, the Dazzle is a small, hand-held device, about the size of a VCR remote control, that plugs into your PC's printer port. You also hook it up to a video source, allowing it to capture images to your screen. But while the Snappy is limited to still images, the Dazzle can also capture video-and not just AVI files, but also MPEG I. There are some other obvious differences, too: The Dazzle is a bit bigger, requires an external power source and, at a price of $199, costs twice the Snappy's $99.
