The Yahoo MRVC thread is better than I thought - much better than the Yahoo ASND thread. There are some strong posters there. I may post over there. Note this post today: messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com Points 2B, 2C and 2D I had guessed at from the Q4 CC. I figured something like this will occur. I have been absolutely beaming over the Xyplex acquisition since it occurred, because with my DP and networking background (both technical and mid managerial) I know POTENTIAL when I see it, and I glad someone else sees it too. P.S. I see another good post by the same person messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com I agree with this. MRVC needed to shorten delivery times and took the appropriate action for the future. They could have communicated this better to the investment community, but that will come. The investment community seems not to be able to do any real digging and analysis on their own. The more I see from them, the less respect I have. People can say that MRVC's recent fall from $29 after earnings is management's fault all they want, but if the street had done their homework they would not have reacted as they did. The blame lies 2/3 there, IMO.

Sector, I like those posts. Wow, he's smooth (or writes smooth). I also like the fact that April options have expired by the announcement, in fact the Friday before the 20th. One thing that bothered me was the mis-timed road show. Can't miss too many opportunities like this. Hope they understand that now. The rest sounds positive to me, how about you?

If MRV's efforts in reducing inventory are successful. Will all the revenue for this quarter's sales show up in this quarter's figures whilst all the manufacturing costs have already been accounted for in previous quarters?
