Thanks for the post. I just put out a query to the board asking for clarification on this exact issue. So, thanks for the information. The reporter was from Communications Daily, and although it sounded more like a precautionary action on Loral's part, the implication to the loosely educated investment masses is probably that there was a failure. So you might be right about the downward pressure on the stock. Did anybody notice that short positions on G* have risen from 4.8 million to over 5.5 million? This also could account for some of the downward pressure. Eventually the shorts will have to cover their position, probably around low 60's, and then watch the price shoot up to 80.
