To All,
Something we on this thread know, but nice to see it recognized
elsewhere.
Investors Business Daily Mon.3-30 under CEO Briefing.
" It's the manufacturers who may face the biggest y2k problems, says
Industry Week.
The average manufacturer uses dates--and calculations based on dates-- to drive business processes. These range from production
data tracking and bar coding to scheduling and monitoring preventive
maintainence.
Many of the problems are deep-rooted. They will have to do some
serious digging to get at the bottem of the problems
Adding to the challenge facing many manufacturers is the increasing complexity of todays supply chain. All it takes is just one supplier not taking the y2k problem seriosly to shut down the whole chain."

Do you know which companies are providing Y2K services to the insurance industry?

TIA
