Kurt:

Good job on Yahoo Apple board. I am a frequent lurker and infrequent poster (visitor on SI), and use Mac both at work and at home. I am also very pleased with my APPL investment (almost doubled from ~14 3/4). I think that 100$ for this year is unrealistic (very possible in 1999). However, 50$ is surely possible this year. It seems that you are doing very well with options (congrats on that Mers, man). I am not an options player myself, but currently thinking about it. January30, 1999 sounds like a solid bet with high appreciation potential. What is your take on Apple options, if you care to share it?

Go APPL

Kurt,

Thanks. I like your forecast on Apple's stock price and I believe
it will come true if the conditions have met your description. I
am confidiant about this quarter, which is officially ended today.
Actually, I am not the most optimistic person on this thread. We
have Leonardo who claimed he has inside info and it looks the timing
when he said his prediction pretty matches the quarter ending period
as well as BOD meeting. That makes me think more seriously about his
appearance with such a bright forecast on Q2. Sam seems very good
at his TA and I also believe his prediction based on his experienced
talks. I wish we had 100m-150m net income this quarter as Leonardo's
description. But, I think I would still stick with my forecast of
1.6b revenue with 91m net, which will not exceed what Anderson's
prediction on revenue (1.6b was Q1's revenue).
