For those who did not notice, there was a reasonable
assessment of the LMDS auction in the bond trading
section of this week's Barron's. The assessment is that
it is not the price paid for the LMDS spectrum that matters,
but how companies are rolling out services and executing
their business plan. WCII, TGNT and WNP are all
mentioned. The writer says that WCII is 1 year ahead
of TGNT and 2 years ahead of WNP. The writer says
that WCII and TGNT got their spectrum at an earlier
spectrum sale, which is obviously incorrect (WCII
got some of its licenses for free, and TGNT got its spectrum
for free, or through graft). The writer does not seem to have
noticed that TGNT's spectrum (400MHz) is significantly less
than the LMDS spectrum just auctioned. Also, WCII will need
to retrofit its point-to-point infrastructure. I also
place WCII ahead of the pack, but I do not think that TGNT
is that far ahead of WNP.

Of course, unmentioned, and probably unmentionable,
CVUS and its CEO, Shant Hovnanian., the great laggard
in developing a business plan and executing it.

No volume at all today...I sold 100 shares just to make sure stock isn't locked or halted. Guess everyone is waiting for 10K to come out.
