Thanks for the words of support. I just arrived in Malang (East Java), staying at a fantastic hotel (http://www.tuguhotels.com). Cost is roughly $60.00 and I would rate it up with the best I have stayed in. Its small, very friendly, traditional decor with lots of antique furnishings. Ah its a tough life! Tomorrow we begin the site visits up the mountains and rivers. I have reviewed the full technical spec's now. The project is an expansion of an existing Flood Forecasting SCADA system which will tie in and greatly expand three existing systems provided by a Japanese company in 1990. The technology appears to be vintage 1980 using Wang PCs and extremely old telemetry techniques of circa 1970. They are adding a new 100 metre dam, tunneling part of one river several hundred meters to spill into the new dam and adding numerous monitoring and control sites. It will be a nice one for us and our agent is optimistic that we have a good shot at it. Regards, John
