Conviction is critical, Craig. I traded in and out a lot during this quarter and made 16%. If I could do that every quarter I would have a damn fine annual return. On the other hand, I used my time on the road to step back out of the fray and reconsider whether I want to keep taking so many shots at once. My intuition tells me the market may be headed to a period like January when it was hard to find any steady direction. But the late January - February runup came out of the blue. We may stutter here and move ahead again if earnings come in OK and Greenspan keeps his finger off the trigger.
