It is my understanding that Apple already have a close relationship with GVIL. Perhaps Apple needs to take take control of them to lock up their modems/technology from other suitors.

Francisco, do know anything of the story besides the headlines?
Does anyone know if that will be in print Monday?

Thanks

that's old new/rumors, it appeared on MacOS Rumors like a week or 2 ago. Global Village the stock (GVIL) reacted accordingly, see the graph, 40% one day, 50% the next, then 30% down the day after, something like that, horribly volatile. I think it's very possible, since Apple needs a built-in modem for the AMP/game console they are planning to sell
