Can you provide some more information? For example: Is it an internal or external drive? What operating system are you using? What does the error message say?

Besides what Al asked:

1) did you install it yourself?
2) are you using the controller card?
3) did it always fail, or did it work before?
4) have you tried IOM's web site for tech support?

Sorry for all the questions, but there are just too many ways for tech stuff to fail, so we must narrow it down some.
