Can someone respond here about this post on Texaco thread:

Message 3645987

They are saying, in response to which is "better" SLHO or RNTK, that:

"Apparently ARCO, Texaco, Marathon Oil,YPF,and Kerr-McGee don't think so,(doesnt think RNTK is better)
because they're all licensees to the Syntroleum process. (SLHO)
RNTK does have a commercial plant to its credit, but you have to ask yourself, if it works so well, why haven't they sold any licenses to date, hmmmm?"

Maybe "proprietary" has to do with the SLHO agreement? I dunno, just asking myself lots of questions and trying to decide whether to pick RNTK back up or not. That 600k sell after hours @$2.47 bothers me.

Sorry to only just be coming out of the woodwork (the gas pits?) on this thread.

The primary advantage that RNTK offers is that it is not
strictly a gas to liquids process, but works on any hydrocarbons
(e.g. coal, refinery bottoms, etc) as well as gas. This is what
makes RNTK's process unique and more versatile than other
technologies available.

BINGO!!!

(In answer to above questions about whether the Texaco website page is referring to RNTK technology.)

This could get interesting.... Stay tuned.
