I am halfway through Under the Tuscan Sun and your copy of The English Patient and read Writing a Woman's Life on vacation. Eng Pat. is MUCH better as a book. ALso read LArry's Party- (Carol Shields)
I love Margaret Atwood's poetry--I didn't realize she did books.
Good satanist books are so difficult to come by, aren't they?

X,

Was it just that particular book you enjoyed, or do you have an interest in reading about classic murder cases?

Oh, dear!!! I am embarrassed to say that I went to the library today and got "Sarah, The Dutchess of York", her autobiography. I have not started it yet, but I am fascinated with women who have overcome dysfunctional childhoods, adversity and public humiliation, and have survived and grown. I have read articles about her, and watched interviews of her, and she seems honest and refreshingly outspoken.

Having essentially majored in novels in college, I find none that can keep my interest now. When my child was born I seemed to lose my attention span, and now am perfectly delighted with nonfiction and poetry. But I would be happy to take suggestions.

...but I do not believe it is very Satanistic, as it is about a woman who builds a summer home in Italy...

If you wanna build a home ANYWHERE in this country, you'd better at least have Satanist friends... They understand how to deal with the bureaucrats who want a minimum of 51 different permessi.
