Thanks for the answer. I suspected that you were a very emotional and unscientific person. You have faith in the notion that the Bible is a myth and consequently you will never test its central hypothesis that Jesus Christ can give you forgiveness of sins, new Life, and the Holy Spirit of God to live in you. False faith and myths are difficult things to dislodge from our minds and hearts. You are swallowed up with the myths and legends of your age and find it difficult to honestly and rationally explore new territory. "Jesus Christ crucified for your sins that you may have life"--that is the central hypothesis of Gods Word.

"Unfortunately, there are literally an infinite number of hypotheses which can be slapped together and you would be kept rather busy in testing them all." It is true that there many hypothesis in the Bible. Consequently,A good scientist does not initially concern himself with the minor hypothesis but rather zeros in on the fundamental underlying hypothesis of any paradigm. The biblical paradigm is that God creatd man, man fell from perfection and fellowship with God through sin, and then man is restored to perfection and sonship through the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God. God gives us a simple way to test the central paradigm of the bible. Believe in His Son Jesus Christ whom He sent to die for your sins and you will be Born Again, forgiven of your sins and receive the Holy Spirit of God to dwell in you. It is so simple, and yet that how it is with most scientific princples . Truth is always simple once it is understood. Jesus and the truth in the bible seems difficult and complex for you because of ignorance and darkness.

So RM what you are saying is that there is a God of some sort out there, and since we are MUCH MUCH more intelligent than those men of old; Abraham,Jacob,Paul,James,etc.,so much more so that in 2000 years from now the people of earth will be reading our intelligent writings such as what you said: ""where we're at in terms of coming to grips with who we are, how we got here and what our purpose may or may not be.""
