Nanda, I am new to SI as a member, but have been a lurker for many months. I am familiar with you from IMRS thread, and have been very impressed with your insights on year 2000 companies. Needless to say, I wish I had followed your instincts and DD on Synt, as well as IMRS. I remember you saying back in December that Synt was starting to behave like a "baby" IMRS. Well, now I am in Tava, and expect to significantly increase my holdings, but, trusting your insights as I do, do you see the same upside in Tava as you did in IMRS and Synt? I suppose this is probably a rhetorical question, but your feedback is greatly appreciated, as I am brand new to TAVA. Regards, Jack "Hopdad" Hopper

Dear Nanda: IF the CD-ROM is a big seller- then I agree TAVA could potentially join the ranks of SYNT. Of course the reason is clear, the CD-ROM gives them a product to sell IN ADDITION to a service. Average the gross margins of both and INCREDIBLE results are possible. But, even if the CD-ROM doesnt turn out as well as we hope (and I have no reason to suspect it wont) this company, with its bright future is certainly worth $20 a share once it proves itself. Example in my mind is EDS, are they not basically a service firm selling now in high 40's? JDN
