Displaying my contrarian side, have bought a small position as a long-term hold (2-3 years) in the beaten up oil producer sector. The current price is about as low as it's gonna get in my view. Looking for a double by selling time - perhaps even a year earlier than planned if the price of oil recovers and stabilizes at the $20 level & if the company meets anticipated production levels. Will be posting a few more notes in the near future to share my findings and reasons for investing in this down-trodden company that's now turning the corner with a revitalized management.
