I agree silver is a better play than gold, however after the currency colapse in Asia, the EMU may want to consider keeping larger reserves of gold. Also from the movement of both silver and gold stocks over the last week it appears some people are moving funds into a defensive position. Japanese market down 3% last night, despite the government trying to push it over 18,000 by tomorrow. April will be interesting.
