<<To all: no need to get angry.>>

Whoah, glass, who's angry??? Thanks for your response. Sat's ain't my field and I appreciate any information that assists in doing my DD. I'll be the first to admit that every other person who posts to this thread probably knows more than I do about the business. If investing was easy, we'd all be out sailing, right? Angry - no; interested in learning and hearing different perspectives - yes.

I appreciate your input, whether you think Iridium or G* is the better choice. It would be an excrutiatingly dull board if everyone agreed on everything, right? (And one needn't look far to find 'em.) ...Tim ; )

Glass,

Sir. Check what MOT had boasted on ADSL chips, CDMA phones, etc. before you told us that IRIDF will be on schedule. All talks with delay will depress your beloved IRIDF. Please be aware! Do not just hype. You are lucky that IRIDF will be on the market first. That makes your day.

However, reality will eventually settle down on cost structure, marketing effort, and finally profitability. I believe that is the reason people buy GSTRF instead of IRIDF. Certainly, I would like to see IRIDF successfully on every milestone it set. In that it also had an impact on GSTRF.

Your logic show me that you do not check GSTRF before hype your IRIDF. GSTRF had gone up from the lowest $12 (pre-split) to $132 now. People purchased GSTRF not because it will only go up to $100 in $2001. They expected GSTRF price to $1000 and up. At least I am holding the shares for my daughter not me. That means I am holding it for a range of 10-15 years if all fundamentals do not change. It will be like holding shares of Sprint, MCI, Bell Atlantic, T, etc.

Do you home work first before "glass has spoken".
