Doren, The local CompUSA store in Torrance, CA is not my favorite computer store, although I am must admit it is an improvement vs. the past display. Referring to poor service, Best Buy has to be my nominee for the worst. Creative Computers had a good repair shop and selection of hardware, but software selection was less that desirable Fry's is still my favorite. Cheers, Dennis

Doren,

I never thought Creative was very serious about their stores. I sold my software to them at one time.

Don't you have any other place to shop? :-) I'd boycott the store, personally.

I think Dennis has a handle on it in suggesting that their not selling many Apple computers there is more a failure of their handling their stores than the Apple computers.

Linda

I agree that Creative's service is horrible. And when they do actually get around to helping you, they don't know what they are talking about. It is probably faster to order through their catalog than to go down there =) Isn't there another Mac store on Wilshire somewhere between UCLA and Creative? I think it is relatively new, so I don't know if it is affordable or if it has a good selection or not, but I have seen it while driving.
