Rod, The fact is that you have rejected the Words of God in the Bible without ever bothering to establish their authenticity and truth by observation and experimentation. At the same time, you have accepted, by faith, the words of men that the words and stories in the Bible are mythical and have no bases in reality, again without observation and experimentation. You are a man of faith. Both your rejection and acceptance are based on faith without any attempt at verifying your beliefs. You are a man of blind faith who has trutsted in fables and myths rather than the verifiable truths in the Word of God. Your god is an irrational god of blind faith and darkness . God, the Fahter of Jesus, is a rational God who always confirms His Word and always performs His Word. God is not a man that he should lie. He has never spoken a word that he has not made good nor has he said things He will not bring to pass. You and I my friend are men who have, at times, lied. It is hard to understand someone who never lies are misleads. You will never know the certitude in Gods' Words until you test the underlying hypothesis of the whole Scriptures: Jesus became what we are that we might becomes what He is. Jesus was crucified for our sins that we may become the sons of God. Do not be irrational and anti-scientific. Test the hypothesis.
