Nice links Byron.."The Pretender" just finished up -
so decided to get back on the thread... (my wife watches it & gets
a kick out of it because the guy reminds her of me - so she states - ha ha -- guess it's because of the job versatility/ability to perceive...not the looks - ha ha)

This stock (in a different way obviously) reminds me of AOL way back when..in it's infancy..
I was one of the first users of AOL & enjoyed it for several years prior to investing in the company...
Then - I noted it's stock had been going up for a few yrs - &
kicked myself - because I had experienced "liking" something before
& seeing the stock rise (usually if I had liked stuff a lot personally - it has always acted as a barometer for the stock..simple common sense) So - I dove in - & quadupled my money
in a short period of time..My mistake was in getting out (4 yrs ago)
because I had switched to an ISP for dial-up access for the web
(but keeping AOL for a time..) & figuring that others would also
get tired of it and go to the Web etc. Wrong! 99% of Joe averages
out there still wanted to get on - and not knowing any better
(or any other alternative) - liked the convenience and brainlessness
of a disk that they could shove in - and get going.. It has been
my experience that 99% of America is relatively computer illiterate
when it comes to trying to use an ISP or simply installing a computer program... KISS applies to selling to the American public.
(a sad commentary on our educational system)

Thus - the continued growth of AOL stock. Margarine for the masses
(I prefer butter) My mistake was in not thinking about Joe average &
not believing that I was still an early adopter - when in fact - it
was just the tip of the masses getting in...when I was getting out.

Thus -- if you think this baby is rolling now - wait until
the "real" boom 2-5 yrs from now....thus - a long term holder..
Some impatient people on this thread may bail in the next month
due to one down day - or one week without news. I'd caution them
to keep the longer term perspective in clear view & don't make
the same mistake I did with my AOL. The 400% gain was nice - but
it would have been better to see the 4,000+ percent increase after that that I missed. I have a very very strong feeling that this
is it. (& I don't have that often..)
