Fuchi , thanks for post on K6-266mhz
I was just in one of the computer depts of a large Canadian drug store
chain . On previous occassions I noticed that they only sold Intel PCs
I was told by a salesman that they had been carrying K6s from Compaq and IBM for over a month . I enquired as to which K6s they sold , the reply 233 and 266s . The salesman however managed to find one K6-200 still in the store . In another store , Future Shop which is the largest chain of computer superstores in Canada , I counted about 40-45% of the total PCs as being AMD K6 . It would be interesting to obtain a comparison of other locales as to the mix of K6 and Intel .
From my location it would appear that AMD is not slowing down in its production of K6 , whether .35 or .25 versions ,
Brian
