Thanks for those words RocketMan!

To Diogeron, He thunk it! He said, wishful thinking and early pricing will be $3, but just wait and his GUESS of $5 will come in. Pretty straightforward. That's where he got the $5.

Then backed it up with some fairly sound reasoning.

If demand is as high as is hoped, then $5 will certainly be in the offing. And Globalstar will be up there too. Meanwhile, since it was good info, I've webnapped your comments over to Globalstar thread RMan.

Maurice

You admit to being uninformed ("I am not particularly interested in the details") and then you go on to make fallicous statements. You then make a number of problematic statements, none of which do you bother to support with facts, just with opinions ("complex") here's an example:

"space systems have cost overruns" Sure they do, when they are done by the government. IRIDIUM is a publically traded company and so their budgets are public info. They are coming in UNDER budget, or you would know if you cared about the details and read their SEC filings.

"Inefficient orbital constellation design: Elliptical is much better to concentrate coverage over populated areas. I have no idea why Motorola would not have seen that."

Because Iridium is a worldwide system, dimwit. You want to sell soemoe a "global" sat phone but only let them use it in the areas already accessible by cellular? You think people crossing oceans on ships dont need phones?

Its clear you just want to hype OBSI like angelo, that OBSI employee, in fact, I suspedct you are him, just with different tactics. Go back to your thread, we're too smart for your FUD here.
