Oh geez...here we go again. Why is it that everytime a stock starts looking great and company starts doing well, these people come out of the woodwork crying "Scam!" or "Hype"...

One thing about the email you were sent that bothers me...The person who sent you this says that a $4 price is unlikely, but rather a .50 to .70 cent range was a fair value. How did he arrive at that figure when the company presently has no product?

What this person is doing is a mistake all newcomers to the OTC arena make at one time or another. They apply the same logic and principles one would apply to a big board stock. When you are buying an IBM or an XO, factors such as EPS and P/E ratios matter. However, most of the successful OTC companies are start up operations, and do not yet have these statistics. Far more important factors would be management, nature of product, industry, capacity for growth, and liklihood of profit.

AVBC presently does not have a P/R firm. To me, that is a good thing. A company who has hired a P/R firm at this stage of business would evidently be more concerned with the performance of the stock and not the growth of the company. In my opinion, the presence of a P/R firm, or hired touter, if you will, is FAR more indicative of a SCAM.

My guess is the person who sent this to you is probably somewhere between the ages of 21-28, has been in the OTC arena for less than a year, and could possibly be a broker, but is more likely a student trying to make a few bucks. Come on ... Don't you recognize him? This is the guy that shows up on just about every thread just as the stock is doing well. This is the guy that THOUGHT he could make a few negative statements, drive the price down, then hop right in. We've all seen this guy before here many times. He may have many different names, but there is one on every good stock here, and we've all seen him before!

Just my opinion,
:-)
Anna

Gary, where do these guys come from? Brokers, company turncoats with no ethics, there only mission, to destroy what others worked so hard to build up. They tell half truths, inuendo, anything to enrich themselves at other honest poeples expense, how shameful.
Yes I did purchase 24,000 shares in AUG 96, so did my friend. Between us, we have over a million shares, one twentieth the float. Add to that your shares, all the shares on this thread, and ten of my co-workers who purchased the other day, it's a sizeable amount. This just represents the people I know, what about all the others. I definetely will exercise my warrants at the appropriate time, talk about a no brainer. I expect to hold my shares for a long time.
I originally invested in this company because I was impressed with the staff, the product, and the mission. I have posted previously on this site about the water, It is absolutely the best drink I ever tasted. I am very particular with what I eat and drink.
Tom has a very challangeing job ahead of him, but In my opinion, it won't be nearly as grueling as his last four years. How can you not bet on a man who has the long term tenacity to beat all odds and save his company from a hostile takeover.
I've posted this before, but needs repeating. There is plenty of money on the sidelines to be invested in this company. Just my opinion, but I think they will be on board soon after the announcement.
I'm glad all the legal battles are over. Now its time for Tom to have his chance to launch this special product and share with the masses. It is long overdue, but it will be worth the wait. For me, it will be a double victory, a great water to drink, and the financial security that I seek.
