James, "You said it better than I could..but I doubt most of the rank and file are beurocrats , and its the old beurocrats that stiffle the rest..and the new broom may sweep that part away, but I doubt it will be any 20000.." I wish you were right, but in reality those that are in position, the bureaucrats are the ones who stay behind to sweep out the hard working rank and file. That is why such companies eventually die with all the good people thrown out and with no one left to row the boat which eventually sinks along with the remaining dead beats weighing it down. This my friend is the sad fact of reality. I hope it will be upto CPQ's management to decide who should be swept away if at all any. Good luck to us all. peacelover
