purething, I am pretty sure Hal's feelings go much deeper than fury, also, and I do hope he feels comfortable fully responding to Emile. It is just a little difficult to welcome someone to the Feelings thread and get very seriously involved in substance, in the same post. I certainly did not mean to trivialize what is going on here. I must say I was shocked to see that Emile believes that multiculturism should not be taught, and that CULTURE should be defined as coming from Europe and (white) America. I don't think we will ever make progress without understanding global cultures, particularly the ones which have been mis- or underrepresented so far.
