What's the possibility that both companies are playing this like a finely tuned violin?? Stocks take a dive next week, companies buy back as much as they can (FAMH has already said they would do this, have they not?) which equates to less stock for a base on EPS as they will retire the stock. Deal is consumated by end of week and the value of company is raised based on less stock outstanding? It's late, hope this makes sense, too many times have most of us seen where a rumor is strongly denied only for it to become reality shortly thereafter and the denial only strengthens the possibility of reality.
