Sh: I think if you re-read my post you will note that I specifically excepted outright, undeniable fraud from my analysis. I certainly agree with you and would not (and have not) tolerate(d) fraud by any client. A lawyers most important stock in trade is reputation. However, I will repeat that KNOWING as opposed to SUSPECTING is a totally different matter. Unfortunately for most of us we live in a world which is shades of gray as opposed to clear black and/or white. That's my only point. I think Sid did a good thing when it needed doing. Professionally speaking, I admire the fortitude he exhibited and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt (at least temporarily). JLA
