Thanks for your insight. Not a lot of real information, even if optimistically tilted, gets posted here.

For ED treatment there is a lot of room for interpretation. A placebo might be effective if marketed correctly. If the FDA ever approves this "remedy", there will be some market. The stockholders may never make any real gains, but P.T. Barnum had a saying for Zonagen, "a sucker is born every minute."

Bruce,

Viagra will have an almost 2 year head start in the oral ED marketplace before Vasomax even has a chance of FDA approval. You're assuming the ED field will be static over this time (2 years is a very long time in this lucrative market). What makes you think that Vasomax can remain a competitive alternative in the year 2000?

Bruce maybe you know where I can read a study of Phentolamine for ED.
There is a study from Germany which revealed that taken p.o. the drug produced effective erections in only 30% compared to 12% for placebo. This will not do it for the FDA they need evidence of effectiveness greater than this to approve this drug for oral use considering that they now have one approved with a very nice safety profile, unless oral phentolamine has a better safety profile than Viagra which
I doubt.

Do you have a link stored somewhere that you would share. I want to educate myself as this is a high risk investment whether one is short or long.
thanks
Doug

"Is there anyone out there who really believes that 70% of all impotent men will be helped by Viagra?"

Yes. The FDA does. I'd be willing to bet the clinical data on Viagra was thorough and complete which is more than I can say about Vasomax. Apparently, the FDA must agree since they approved Viagra without questioning the legitimacy of the 70% success rate. Vasomax doesn't stand a chance of even approaching this efficacy rate.
