Richard, I seriously doubt that any huge amount of sell limit orders @ $1.00 will do anything for the price. But huge buy limit orders @ 1.00 theoretically could. The only problem is that all of the MMs probably already know this scheme, whereby they see the buy orders sitting there @1.00 and raise the bid so as to be able to sell to those orders only to find out the we, the potential buyers, already sold all of our stock when the bid reached 3/4 and then cancelled our 1 dollar buy limit orders.
