One one of the talk shows (radio) yesterday, Rick Malone (Washington, DC) said that the Merced chip will revolutionize the PC. He recommended buying/holding INTC and also buying Rambus who INTC is in bed with over the MERCED. Any thoughts and when do you think we'll see $90?

Pancho - re: "you may know lot's about INTC's technical stuff but not much about investing. Check AOL's price volatility. "

Are you sure you know that much about investing and AOL? It's price has pretty much straightlined from $47.5 to $69 in recent months.

As for long term volatility of AOL's price - sure, it's volatile. As long as you can bear the paper loss, perhaps you can capitalize on future volatility - if and when it occurs.

However, faced with a rapid run up in AOL's price, I thought smart short sellers always cut their losses quickly before things get too out of hand.
