Let's post this one more time so that everyone can be certain of understanding the difference between Rentek and Syntroleum.
**************************************************
Gasification: Texaco's proprietary gasification technology converts various
carbon-based feedstocks such as coal, petroleum coke, heavy oil and wastes into clean synthesis gas, which is used to produce electricity, chemicals, fuels and fertilizer. The technology significantly reduces the emissions of sulfur dioxide, nitrous oxides, carbon dioxide and leachable solid wastes. Texaco is considered a world leader in this technology."

THIS, is Rentech technology -- "coal, petroleum coke, heavy oil and wastes" and "Texaco's proprietary gasification technology" seems very clearly to say it is now Texaco's......

******************************************
Sorry.. but I grow weary of people saying that TX's reference is solely related to Syntroleum.

I don't believe that theory, and neither do most logical scrutinizers of the TX-RNTK negotiations. Texaco is clearly addressing RNTK's technology on their website.

Basically, I think the deal has already been done, but is being held close to the vest.

Regards,

Ron
