Actually you don't have the hang of this thread because your diatribe was directed at the one person who thought you at least had a point regarding the display case and I haven't seen any cheer leading on my part here, have you? Essentially you hit the wrong target but that's OK. As for the flames themselves, kinda blabberous and blathery and not particularly informative -- take that as a constructive comment. As for finger crossing, why not? Hell, even if this is just a hope and a prayer, and I'm not claiming it is one way or the other, I could do worse than to lose a few grand on it. Easy come easy go, dude. Don't get me wrong, I'll be digging a little more and paying a little more attention to it, 'speshly if I add to my position, but right now it ain't exactly causing me to lose any sleep.

Ah, GO PTSC!!!, doh!

Good post.

FYI -

A mention of PTSC in Computer Design (the Embedded Systems Design Guide supplement).

"Java is a stack-based language, so stack-based microprocessors are making a comeback. Patriot Scientific's PSC1000 (also called, well, ShBoom) is one such chip. the company reports that Java performance is quite acceptable."
