Maurice,
Agree with your comments. I don't quite understand what Covey would be fighting with Stuek or H&Q about. They should all want the stock higher and Stuek was brought on board to do the day-to-day running of the company in sales, profits, expenses, etc. These are things that Covey has NOT done a good job at. Also agree that Covey would do a much better job at R&D than Stuek. The question is: Does Covey want to spend large amounts on new product development vs. the more boring servicing what they have now and expanding their sales and service operations? I think the bulk of the money should be on the second alternative. Without establishing a good reputation for service, quality of existing products, and management support to customers they won't be able to sell new products anyway. This might be what the battle is about. I'm sure Stuek and H&Q want the second choice also.

Karl

Hi, Maurice, FWIW, don't think U'll experience any Muck-Up by installing Net3.0, ok? To lump it w/ the problems you had with IE is not quite fair. For one thing, N3.0 has been around longer...
less bugs, more (ful)filling to borrow a Lite Beer commercial jingle.

I think Steuk deserves more than 60 days trial by fire...in my opinion, Kurt and Maurice, it seems that this rumor may be hurting the stock instead of helping it.

The annual report said that "As of January 22, 1998 there are 445 shareholders on records". Isn't that a very low number for a company the size of SSA? As such, I'm surprised that the stock is as liquid as it is.
