Hello Gabriela,
Hope you don't mind my butting in; new to SI, but been around awhile and must say I have seen nothing like what is happening. I have reached the conclusion that this is the mother of all blow offs, and who knows when it will end, but END IT WILL!!
Re the small cap question, the old rule of thumb is that the large caps (spelled Dow/S&P) are the LAST to fall. Maybe all the young, (untested by any form of bear) mutual fund managers are going to find out that sometimes the old rules mean something.
By the way, I found this thread from a mention of you on another forum (you have no idea how far your fame has spread!). Your comments in a reply on Mar 21 (#8672) are dead on and I consider them to be classic; hope you do not mind that I copied them in my personal file to read periodically (when I start to think I am SURE that I know what is going on). Anyway, excuse the interruption and thanks.
Best regards; Mtn Bear
