DD: I have tried it and had hit and miss success with it. I experienced delay in voice transmission and an echo in transmission and receiving. After several conversations with numerous people across the globe, a gentlemen in Bucharest< Hungary pointed out the fact that Mac To Mac connect seems to work the best and I must concur. (I'm on aMac) His point was that problems arise from improper software installation. As a matter of fact I have a friend with a Wintel system downloading the software as I write. I'll let you know the results after they are set up.
I must conclude based on the Mac to Mac contact that it is a remarkable piece of communication software and should increase in usage as it becomes more aware to the general PC population.
If anyone can add to this, feel free to list your pros and cons. Best Regards, Joe

Re: Vocaltec,

I've been in and out of this one and can't pull the buy trigger right now. For some reason the market is waiting for something from them. Could be that there's a lot of Asian exposure (I think it's in excess of 40% of revenue) but I'm just not sure. I bought the stock a few months ago when other computer telephony stocks like CMVT and AVTC were starting to take off. I sold it for no gain, and it's still sitting there while its peers have gone through the roof.

I think one of these days it'll take off but I'd sure love to get a better feel for why the market is so skeptical right now.
