OT OT OT ********** SDNA, I signed up for the cable service through @HOME last summer and it is definitely fast!!! For example, I downloaded the full version of Netscape Communicator (15M) in 90 seconds** so if you consider that fast, then yes it is. If you don't want to take my word for it, I suggest going to one of the demonstration booths that @Home has set up to see it for yourself. SDNA, I got a cable modem and @home through TCI in January. Before I could install it I had to update my NT 4.0 to Service Pac 3. It took about three hours to download the 18MByte file to do the update. When installing the support files for @home, the service rep (on the phone) suggested I pull the 23MByte file off of the internet rather than from the CD ROM. I timed it. It took 43 seconds. The cable modem plus @home costs just $6 more than the second phone line plus my previous ISP cost. Jack
