Dumbmoney,

Unless you playing options (which I do not) the short side carries little risk at the moment. All indications are that MU will lose even more money this Q. Analyst estimates and recommendations are still very bullish (six Strong Buys!), leaving ample room for disappointments and downgrades to come. Why try to call a bottom?

You are not listening? I am talking about 1999:-)

Everybody and their grandmother knows about the next quarter...and the next after that.:-) What happens after THAT? When does one start discounting the bad news and start looking forward? Just curious to see if anybody is looking past their nose.<vbg>...and if so...what do they see.

Dumbmoney, can't you just make believe for a moment you are a bull instead of a "forever bear". Seriously what might the bulls be seeing that you might refuse to see or you feel compelled to ignore. Wouldn't it be nice to know what kind of land mines are out there before you go romping through the MU fields...fat, dumb, and happy?

I am just curious...not taking one position or the other...just curious...curious...curious...
