Do you know what the trading symbol is for the Toronto Index ??
Sounds interesting.
I agree on the XAU, though.
Just watch ABX (Barrick Gold) and PDG (Placer Dome) and when they
move, the XAU will move since the XAU is HEAVILY weighted
with those two.

I've never used TA to buy or sell. I've always gone strictly with the fundamentals of a stock so I'm in no position to determine which is a more accurate tool for timing the market. One thing I'm sure of is that the majors will move first and then the juniors so a fund that tracks the XAU is gonna move first and higher right now then one with as many juniors as seniors. The juniors will catch up and exceed the seniors percentage-wise after we're into the move up.
