I've been looking in a dozen places for explicit news on any one of these new lower earnings estimates and can't find a thing. Free sites, pay sites, offices of my brokers, hell ADP's Brokerage Services Group itself (I used to work there) -- there's no effort whatsoever to see that The Public gets this information for free.

Tom, David, would you say the stealth lowering of FY'99 estimates means that people are getting more positive or less positive about the future? Someone's been lowering their estimates, right? And yet, when's the last time you saw a report on CNBC? Reuters? Dow Jones? Hey not fair ! You are answering questions with more questions!!!:-) As far as CNBC I have no idea how to use their input. Maybe just to make myself aware that there is news out there and then go look somewhere else for the source so I can interpret it. So anyway Tom...you seem like a really bright individual. What is in store for dear old Micron? What does its future look like? Look into that crystal ball and provide us with some insight.:-) Trying to formulate a strategy for the next quarter based on what fundamentals we are currently aware of. Is it really the end of the world for MU? Volume was low the latter of this week. Is MU stalling...hesitating...waiting for a moment? Micron is ready to do something. What is it? Who really knows what will happen and is ready to put his(her) money where his(her) mouth is? Micron had worse than expected earnings by everyones standard...Why isn't MU in the old proverbial Dumper? Good Luck Trading DavidG
