Thanks. That's what I figured. My conjecture would be that there is no chance of that happening. I'd still say Nortel or Lucent are the most likely suitors, leaning towards Nortel.

From my limited experience in this field it seems to me
the best managed companies are ASND,NN and Siemens

You have got to be kidding! I'm sorry for the somewhat harsh response, but NN and ASND are NOT looked at by the investment community as two of the best managed companies. In fact, quite to the contrary. It's the perception of sub-par management that is keeping these stocks undervalued.
