>>Who of you owns a Palm Pilot ?

I own two of them, and will have a third as soon as the new version is released. I carry it everywhere with me.

>>I refuse to type in phone numbers and credit card numbers in tiny electronic devices where you can hardly read the letters on the "keybord".

There is no keyboard on a Pilot. You write (print) using a stylus, and it uses character recognition to translate your writing into digital data.

>>As much as my daily life is influenced by computers and I like my work ..... I like to write these things down like in the "old" days.

Sounds like a perfect fit to me!

I have one and it's great. Go out and get one from where ever
and use it for 30 days I'll bet you won't return it.

I have one of the Palm Pilot Professionals. It has its own hand writing recognition system as well as keyboard functions. Most of the data is put on your PC and then sync'd. I also use it for e.mail, with the modem. When they have a secure web browser for stock trades to go with the Novatel wireless modem then it will be great for me!

Guys: Who of you owns a Palm Pilot ?

I am not currently a COMS shareholder, but I do own a Palm Pilot, and I absolutely adore it. I agree that technology can be a pain in the *&^, but this device has fit a need for me quite well. It has simplified my life, not made it more complicated.
